Spanish By the Sea

Our Spanish language partner school is located at the centre of Bocas del Toro, 15 minutes by foot from the airport and right by the sea. The language centre is housed in a beautiful house with a garden. The 10 classrooms are distributed throughout the building and generally host small groups of about 3-4 students, allowing them to make rapid progress. Lessons usually take place in the morning, but sometimes some lessons are scheduled for the afternoon during peak season. A computer is available to students for internet access (paid) and there is a lounge where they can meet up with other students during breaks or after Spanish lessons. Within easy reach you will find internet cafés, supermarkets and restaurants for going out with friends.

Boende

Residence in Boca del Toro
The residence is made up of several rooms located on the same site as the school. You will be accommodated in a double or individual room (if a supplement is paid) and you will share a kitchen with your flatmates where you will prepare your meals, a lounge with a TV, showers and bathrooms and a balcony with hammocks - ideal for relaxing. The residence is regularly cleaned. You will need a certain amount for flexibility if your stay is to be a success. There are sometimes power cuts and water shortages. Whatever happens, the school's warm atmosphere and the legendary Panamanian hospitality will allow you to overcome these inconveniences without difficulty. This accommodation option is very popular, so we advise you to book in advance!
Home stay
Staying in a host family will allow you to make the most of your stay at Bocas del Toro. Families are carefully selected by our partner language school and are located about 15 minutes away from the language centre. You will stay in a private room with breakfast included. This option will allow you to discover the Caribbean lifestyle, the warm and open inhabitants, and to practise your Spanish daily in a stimulating atmosphere.
Hotel
If you would like more independence and autonomy, the 'Spanish by the sea' language school will advise you on reserving a hotel at Bocas del Toro.

Our Spanish language school at Bocas del Toro offers an activity programme each week to enable you to make the most of your stay: snorkelling, diving, surfing or cookery courses, an excursion to a butterfly park or a coastal cruise in a catamaran at the weekend, you will be spoilt for choice and will take magnificent memories home with you.
