Our partner school in Bogotá is located on the campus of one of the best universities in Columbia, Sabana University, 45 minutes away from the city centre. The school provides modern equipment for its students, including a large library, two computer rooms with free Internet access and software programmes for learning Spanish, a « cultural » room with the possibility of viewing films, documentaries or concerts, without forgetting the sports fields of the campus. As the students of Nueva Lengua school are considered to belong completely to the university, they have access to all of these facilities. The school itself has 6 classrooms,one for each level.

Boende

Host family
If you have always dreamed of visiting the Andes to get to know the culture of its people, then the best solution is to stay with a host family. Chosen with care by our partner school, the families are situated around 45 minutes away from the language school building. You will have the choice between a single or double room, according to your liking. You will have breakfast and an evening meal with the family. You will also be able to do your laundry once a week. This is an ideal opportunity to improve your Spanish while at the same time really experiencing a completely different culture to your own. This type of accommodation will enable you to leave with unforgettable memories of your stay in Bogotá.

Apartment
For greater independance, you can choose to stay in a private, fully-furnished apartment if you are staying for two months or longer. With a very good location in a pleasant and safe neighbourhood, these apartments have one or two bedrooms and are around 45 minutes away from the language school building. The apartments are only a stone’s throw away from numerous restaurants, bars, cinemas and other commercial centres. They contain a fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a TV room with cable. You will have access to the laundry room and a garage.

Hotel
If you wish to stay in a hotel while you are in Bogotá, our partner school advises you to choose Casa Real, which is located around 45 minutes away from the school. Please contact us for further information.

Fritidsaktiviteter

Our partner school proposes two afternoons of cultural activities per week. There are a thousand and one things to do, see and discover in Bogotá itself, from museums, natural parks and visits to historic monuments to going out to restaurants and going for walks of nature discovery in the open air…Near to Bogotá, for example, you can see the magnificent Guatavita Lake, the source of the legend of El Dorado as well as visit the small town of Raquira where you will find some of the most beautiful handcrafted works in the country. You can even discover the astounding Zipaquira salt cathedral, which was carved out by miners at the heart of a mountain. The Andes are a real marvel in every way and the spectacles they offer are a must-see if you wish to truly understand Columbia.
