Our partner school is located at the heart of the town of Xi’an, near the historic centre, to the south-east of the ancient wall. The language centre is housed in a two-storey modern building and provides a friendly atmosphere for learning Chinese: 16 classrooms allocated for Mandarin Chinese lessons, a library, a computer room with internet access, a student lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen. In the summer you will be able to take full advantage of the school grounds and the roof terrace. During evenings and weekends this small school also hosts Chinese students who come to learn English, German, Spanish or French. This provides a good opportunity for making friends with local students who will show you around their fabulous city and with whom you will be able to put your linguistic knowledge into practice. The courses begin every Monday. At the beginning of each session, you will take an evaluation test so that we can place you in a class that corresponds as much as possible to your current language level.

Host family in Xi’an
If you are a conscientious student, are prepared to show flexibility and have a real desire to live like the Chinese during your stay in Xi’an, accommodation with a host family is an excellent solution: taste real Chinese cuisine, meet native people, discover the culture and history of the ‘Middle Kingdom’ and the province of Shaanxi from the inside. Located about 20-30 minutes away from the school, you will sleep in a private room with half-board or breakfast only. This provides a unique opportunity for putting your new linguistic acquisitions into practice in daily life situations.

Shared apartment in Xi’an
For students who prefer more independence, our partner school in Xi’an provides furnished apartments, located near the language centre, where they can choose to live alone or to share with one or several other students. Each apartment is chosen and checked by our school in Xi’an, which strives to provide a pleasant, light and warm setting for students. Each apartment has a bathroom, lounge, dining room and kitchen for preparing your meals.

Fritidsaktiviteter

Using language in a sporting or social context is a very good way to develop skills that you have acquired in class during your Mandarin Chinese lessons. Each week our Chinese school in Xi’an offers students the opportunity to participate in activities and outings, some free or at a reduced price, both during the week and at weekends.
